BIGGEST REVEALS FROM THE GAME AWARDS 2019
It’s the biggest night of the year for Gamers tonight: The Game Awards.
Sekiro: Shadows Die twice was the big winner at this year’s awards, despite all the criticism it was named game of the year and also best action game and the latest release from legend Hideo Kojima, death Stranding, also took three awards home.
The Game Awards, now in its sixth year, has become a platform for creators, players and companies to tease and announce upcoming projects. From new consoles to upcoming sequels, here we have the biggest reveals.
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS UNDER NEW LABEL
Riot’s new label ‘Riot Forge” have unveiled the first game to be published will be partnered with indie studios to enhance new experiences in the League of Legends universe, the first titles are called Ruined King and Convergence.
There is no confirmed release date yet for this announcement.
CYBERPUNK 2077 – THE SOUNDTRACK
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of 2020. The Game Awards taught us that the music is one of the most important parts of the games experience.
CD Projekt Red, the developer revealed the artists that will be involved in the soundtrack;

This list of artists gives gamers a taste of what to expect from the music of Night City, with a broad range of artists and sound. Grimes will also be voicing in-game character Lizzy Wizzy.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release April 2020 for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
BRAVELY DEFAULT II IS COMING NEXT YEAR
Square Enix announced Bravely Default ii, a sequel to the popular 3DS game, will be available on Nintendo switch in 2020 but no date is set yet.
THE WOLF AMONG US IS BACK
Due to the closure of Telltale Games, a number of titles were shelved indefinitely but now that the studio is back, some of them are being revived. The Wolf Among US 2 is a sequel that explores the fairy tale universe of the Fables comic series.
Not much has been shared about the game so far and the date is yet to be announced but many fans are extremely pleased.
FAST & FURIOUS GETS A HEIST GAME
Crossroads is a team-based action game built around heists, it isn’t a racer. It brings back most of the main characters from the films for fans to play as.
MICROSOFT UNVEILS BRAND NEW XBOX SERIES X
Xbox boss Phil Spencer took the stage early in the show to reveal the brand new Xbox series X, previously known as Project Scarlett.
Their most powerful console yet, with 40% more power than any other console and true immersive 4K gaming and faster processing for smoother gameplay, this console is the ultimate for gamers.
A brand-new controller means horizontal game play- changing the way players can game.
The console also holds 12GB GDDR5 of graphic memory to add speed and power to game performance and hold more memory and with a 6 teraflop GPU, games will be more realistic than ever.
Tech Radar expect it to be “The most powerful console in the world.”
Xbox series X will be released in the “holiday season” of 2020.
